Paypal Payments & Delivery Addresses
We urge you to check the delivery address on your order confirmation very carefully.
Please be aware when paying by Paypal that the delivery address will be overwritten by that of the registered Paypal address - even if you have specified an alternative address at the Essesea checkout. You will need to change the delivery address in Paypal to prevent this from happening.
Shipping
Postal charges are calculated by weight of items. Total postage and packaging charges are calculated via the checkout prior to purchase. You can check the postage cost for your order in the shopping cart via the 'Estimate shipping' button.
All orders are insured for loss or damage. Higher value orders will be sent on a recorded / signed for service.
If there is no-one available to receive a package that requires a signature or is undeliverable due to size, Royal Mail will notify the addressee and hold the parcel for a reasonable length of time. Once a delivery attempt has been made it is your responsibility to arrange collection or re-delivery with your local Royal Mail depot. Essesea will not be held responsible for the loss of a package once a delivery attempt has been made.
Proof of postage is always obtained.
We ship worldwide. International orders are subject to airmail / flight schedules and customs clearance. All orders are declared at their actual value for customs purposes. A copy of your invoice will be included with your order.
International customers: Please be aware that international orders can take anything up to 4 weeks from despatch to reach their destination.
Lead Times
We endeavour to despatch your order as quickly as possible. As many of our items are made to order, despatch times vary depending on the products.
Please read the following carefully:
Most of our standard non-personalised products are available for next business day despatch.
For personalised products we always email a print proof before going ahead with an order.
The lead time for personalised items is 3-5 days from approval of the print proof - not the date of the order.
Many of our items have specific options which you can choose on purchase. These items are made to order to your requirements. We do keep stock of the components needed to make the items but you need to allow us time to physically make them. Therefore please allow up to 3-5 days for items with options.
Tiaras, Hair combs, Vines and Pins are made to order, please allow 3-5 days for despatch of these items (this excludes one-of-a-kind items which are already made).
It is always advisable to check should you require any items urgently. We are usually able to accommodate rush orders, but please check with us first to make sure it is possible.
Choosing the 'Special Delivery Next Day' service at the checkout does not necessarily mean you order will arrive next day unless previously agreed otherwise.
All orders are subject to the above lead times.
Returns
We have every confidence that you will be delighted with your purchase.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your goods and wish to return them please contact us within 7 days of receipt for either a refund, credit coupon or an exchange of goods to the same value (excluding postage & packaging costs) in accordance with the distance selling regulations.
Items specifically made to your requirements, e.g. items with
options such as colour, size and personalisation may be subject to a
50%
re-stocking fee on return.
These items include:
Personalised items,
Die-cut card shapes - including place name cards and favour boxes,
Hair vines, combs, headbands, tiaras and any other items made
to a specific size, colour or finish.
If you are in any doubt on the suitability of items we would suggest you purchase just one item as a sample before placing a larger order.
When returning items please ensure that you obtain proof of posting and any necessary insurance for high value items. We will not be held responsible for items being returned which are lost or damaged in the post. A proof of posting certificate is available free of charge from your post office and will insure the package for up to ten times the price of a first class stamp.
For health and hygiene reasons we can not accept returns on jewellery for piercings.
